The “Human Condition” exhibition featuring Artworks by Shabnam Eltejaei at Ba Gallery
Oct 9, 2026
According to ILNA, a solo exhibition of artworks by Shabnam Eltejaei, titled "The Human Condition", will be held at Ba Gallery starting Friday, October 9.
Shabnam Eltejaei is an artist born in 1993 in Sirjan. She completed her bachelor's degree in painting at Shahid Bahonar University in Kerman.
Her other artworks have also been exhibited in group exhibitions at Baam Gallery, Shamideh Gallery, Ehsan Gallery, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Kerman.
An excerpt from the exhibition statement reads: “The impulse toward domination and superiority has, at times, driven human beings to acts of extraordinary violence and excess. It is as though humanity has repeatedly sought not only to overcome the other, but to consume them entirely to erase their presence and banish their shadow from the world. Human beings have often attempted to explain this cycle as an expression of their “animal nature,” shifting responsibility onto instincts supposedly shared with other living creatures. Yet the relentless pursuit of power and the rationalization of domination are not merely animal impulses. They belong to one of the most persistent and distinctly human behavioral archetypes.”
The exhibition was conceived at the suggestion of Aidin Xankeshpour.
Those interested in visiting The Human Condition exhibition can attend Ba Gallery daily from 3 to 8 p.m. and on Fridays from 4 to 8 p.m. The Gallery is closed on Saturdays.
Ba Gallery address: Units 602–603, Modern Plaza Building, Nastaran Dead End, Baharan Street, Nakhl Street, Artesh Boulevard.
