Rooha Dabaghian

Rooha Dabaghian holds a Ph.D. in Architecture and began showcasing her work in exhibitions in Dubai in 2019. She has participated in several group exhibitions both in Iran and internationally and has also held a solo exhibition in Dubai.

In her paintings, Dabaghian seeks to convey emotions and the sense of presence in the moment through a focus on color and nature. Her work aims to depict what cannot be seen but can only be felt,through visual representations of nature, everyday events, and ordinary elements.

She uses a kind of exaggeration in colors and forms to express emotional states more vividly and directly,a reflection of the fleeting and complex emotional perceptions that pass through the human spirit.

Rather than portraying objective reality, Dabaghian’s paintings aim to capture the subjective feelings and mental responses that objects and events evoke in an individual.
